We use a 1G LAN network with a Linux server. The Linux server is tuned for optimum performance and runs much faster than a Microsoft Server. We are very pleased with the performance and reliability of this system and the support provided by Business UX. Our files are backed up remotely each evening over the internet to the remote Business UX servers using a custom incremental scheme which is very efficient considering the amount of data files that we produce. The backup system processes about 200 MBytes of data per user per day (we currently have 10 users and are growing).
